getting Started

Overview

Zoom Webhook source code is a real-time event processor specifically designed to capture and process participant join events in Zoom meetings/webinars. Its core function is to transform Zoom platform activity data into standardized user behavior events and send them to your data analytics platform.

Source Configuration

Meeting IDs and Topic Matching must be filled in at least one of these; otherwise, the source will not work.

  1. Configure Meeting IDs (optional meeting ID matching)

  • The format is a set of meeting (workshop) IDs separated by commas, which is used by the source to filter the participants_joined (participants in meetings) event data pushed by Zoom webhook based on the meeting ID.

  • When this field is set, the source only pushes meeting events contained in the meeting IDs to the CDP.

  • If not configured, only meeting attendance events that match the Topic Matching will be sent back to CDP.

  1. Configure Topic Matching (optional: meeting name matching)

  • When Meeting IDs are not set, Topic Matching will be used as an event filter, and the source will only send back matched meeting events to CDP.

  • When Meeting IDs are set, Topic Matching serves as a supplementary filter; meeting events that match either Meeting IDs or Topic Matching will be sent back to CDP.

For example, when the Topic Matching is set to "for CDP", if the client's meeting name contains 'for CDP', it is considered a match.
